TOKYO, Apr 28, 2015 - (JCN Newswire) - NTT DOCOMO, INC. announced today its new initiatives toward the delivery of medium-term targets, including plans to widen its scope of business and to collaborate with new partners for value creation.

DOCOMO introduced a new flat-rate billing plan, Kake-hodai & Pake-aeru, and an ultra-fast optical-fiber broadband service, docomo Hikari, part of a strategy to shift from short-term cost-competition to highly useful services and businesses that become ingrained in the lives of loyal DOCOMO customers.

In response to the increasing needs of customers, DOCOMO will continue to pursue this strategy shift, focusing on co-creation initiatives for increased collaboration with business partners to create high added value. Meeting needs in society through advanced services

DOCOMO aims to drive ICT centered on cloud technologies to develop innovative solutions that meet pressing needs in modern society, particularly in fields such as health/medical care, education/learning and agriculture.

Revitalizing Japan's regional economies through new businesses
