With an investment of approximately 16.9 billion yen, the new plant, Gateway Plant No. 2, is scheduled to start operations in mid-2013 with an annual production capacity of approximately 70,000 units. In the Toyota Global Vision, TMC positioned emerging markets as a top priority. This year, TMC will celebrate 50 years of business in Thailand, where it hopes to expand its community-rooted activities, contributing to the development of the Thai automobile industry and the regional economy.
