Didi Kuaidi Maintains 83% Share in Q3 2015 in China's Ride-Sharing Market

BEIJING, Nov 25, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - According to latest market research from Analysys International, Didi Kuaidi continues to dominate China's private car market by both the number of active users and cities covered.

In a press release (http://m.analysys.cn/point/detail/13939.html) released on November 22nd, the issuer of The 2015 Q3 Report on Private Car Hailing in China said Didi Kuaidi owns 83.2% of China's existing active users for private-car service, while Uber and CAR Inc. take 16.2% and 13.4% respectively.

As at the end of October 2015, Didi Kuaidi's private-car service is available in 199 cities across China, while Yidao Yongche and UCAR Inc. cover 98 and 66 cities respectively.

In H2 2015, Didi launched a series initiatives to improve driver/passenger protection and user experience, including:
- initiating the best general insurance coverage in the industry for as much as 1.2 million yuan for drivers and passengers on its platform;
- creating online-offline service synergy through the Senior Citizens Hotlines, Didi Stations, Recommended Meeting Points and other initiatives that enhance user loyalty; and
- introducing test drive and various carpooling services to add value to the economy of scale of Didi's platform; etc.

A spokesperson from Didi says the company will continue to apply its technological and data resources to systemic improvement in user experience while consolidating its market leadership across all main verticals in 2016.
