NEC Showcases the Latest Public Transport Innovations at APTA EXPO 2017

TOKYO, Oct 06, 2017 - (JCN Newswire) - NEC Corporation (TSE: 6701) today announced its participation in the American Public Transportation Association's (APTA) EXPO 2017 from October 9-11, 2017, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta Georgia.

NEC and its partners will present a number of innovative solutions for enhancing public transport, including solutions that feature NEC's top ranked(1) face recognition technologies,a cloud-based Fleet Management Solution (FMS), an Automatic Fare Collection System (AFC) and ePaper displays for real-time passenger information.

The APTA EXPO is held every three years and is public transit's premier event for technology, products and services.
