Senior Verisk Executive Uday Virkud to Lead 3E's Next Phase of Growth; Plans to Expand Global Presence and Supply Chain Product Compliance Business

Carlsbad, Calif., Jul 02, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - 3E Company, a leading provider of environmental health and safety (EH&S) compliance and information management services, today announced the appointment of Uday Virkud as president and CEO. Mr. Virkud, who has an extensive background in risk management, replaces Robert S. Christie, who led 3E since 2004. 3E Company is a subsidiary of Verisk Analytics (Nasdaq:VRSK).

Mr. Virkud joins 3E from AIR Worldwide, a Verisk company providing risk modeling software and services, where he worked for 17 years. He most recently served as its executive vice president and was responsible for international business development, strategic growth initiatives, and product development. Before joining AIR, he worked as a transportation planning engineer and consultant.

He holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, a master of science degree in engineering management from Northeastern University, and a master of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
