Enters the Animation Game Market in Full Force

HONG KONG, May 15, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - China Animation Characters Company Limited ("China Animation" or "the Group;" stock code: 1566), a leading multimedia animation enterprise in China has confirmed 10 projects and signed the contracts with government and several large commercial institutions in the 11th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair ("Cultural Industries Fair") today. The Group is embarking on entry into the animation game market. The Group has presented the VR game of "Violet" and "Han Ba Gui" equipped with the world's leading 9D VR (virtual reality technologies) wearable devices. Meanwhile, the Group has been appointed by the Chinese government to assist in pre-primary education as well as community safety promotion.

China Animation is one of the main exhibitors of the Cultural Industries Fair as its "China Animation Industrial Park" occupies 50,000 sq.m. and has been the sub-venue of the Fair for six consecutive years. Industries Fair is the only national and spectacular international cultural industries fair. The total volume of transactions made at the Fair in the previous year reached RMB 232.5 billion, with a total attendance of 5,078,800. For the 11th Cultural Industries Fair, there are 2,300 exhibitors, the highest record to date. Moreover, there are about 19,000 overseas purchasers from 97 countries and regions, and 40 overseas exhibitors at the Fair.

China Animation enters animation game market with 9D VR technologies
China Animation mainly engages in multimedia entertainment and has showcased its technical abilities at the Cultural Industries Fair. The Group launched two wearable devices equipped with the world's leading 9D VR (virtual reality technologies) commercial games.

China Animation plans to open the VR gaming experience centers worldwide, which will provide VR games and wearable devices themed with self-developed characters, including the VR gaming experience center next to Shanghai China Animation Indoor Park to be fully opened at the end of this year, so as to further expand the business base. The innovative 9D VR glasses provide a 360-degree virtual reality experience, thus users could wear glasses to access the virtual three-dimensional environment and enjoy a multi-sensory interaction. Meanwhile, China Animation is striving to build a cartoon animation game internet ecosystem. Users can continuously experience updated gaming devices and contents.

As a diversified animation enterprise, China Animation's popular idol "Violet" further penetrates into the animation game field, boosting the Group's multimedia entertainment business with a new concept of "Internet, Animation Game & E-commerce." The Group intends to launch five animation games with "Violet" in the key role from May to July. In addition to two VR games launched at the Cultural Industries Fair, there will be two more mobile games and one internet game. Among them, "Violet" Internet games are to be released on the new emerging trendy e-commerce platform "Hui10". By using "Violet UnionPay Card" to play games or for purchases, users could obtain a cash rebate up to a certain percentage.

Cartoons, TV dramas and concerts to develop multimedia entertainment stardom
China Animation will co-produce "Galaxy Girl" starring "Violet" with Studio Comet Co.Ltd. which has previously produced popular cartoon animations such as "Initial D", "Jewel Pet" and "School Rumble". The premiere trailers will be played during the Cultural Industries Fair and the film is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2016. 20 episodes of the "Galaxy Girls" TV drama are planed with Hong Kong as the background, and are expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2016 and broadcast in China and Japan. In addition, the animation movies "The King of Tibetan Antelope ", "Where Are You Going, Baby?" and "Project Egg " which are holding invested and jointly produced by China Animation, are also to be launched and released nationally between the fourth quarter of 2015 and second quarter of 2016."The King of Tibetan Antelope" is jointly produced with Shenzhen Tianyuxing Entertainment Co.,Ltd. It has begun production since 1998 and will be coming soon to theaters around October this year. The movie has also won several US awards like Gold Remi Award of "WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival" and Official Selection Award of "Chinese American Film Festival", highlighting the integration capability of the Group in the cartoon animation field.

"Violet" who recently gave the nation's first 3D holographic animation concert in February 2015, has been a blockbuster performer. The Group is planning to hold Violet's concerts in Hong Kong and has tentatively scheduled the concerts at Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre (KITEC) around 1 October 2015. This event is to be the first Chinese original virtual idol anime concert in Hong Kong, following the trail blazed by Japan's leading virtual idol "Hatsune Miku" and virtual band "EGOIST". The Group is also strives to promote in other places such as participating in the "Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong" at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition from 24 to 28 July and China Cultural & Creative Industry Fair in August.

"Violet" assists pre-primary education and safety promotion
With the support from the state through a focused promotion, "Violet" has appointed to assist pre-primary education at the kindergartens in Beijing since May. Furthermore, "Violet" and another popular character "Han Ba Gui" have participated in safety promotion campaigns with Shenzhen government and assisted in community education through animation movies and drama.
