FINDLAY, Ohio, Feb 02, 2016 - (ACN Newswire) - Marathon Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: MPC) announced today that its 2016 annual meeting of shareholders will take place at the company's headquarters in Findlay, Ohio, on April 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. EDT.

In addition, the company announced that Feb. 29, 2016, has been fixed as the record date for determination of the shareholders of the company entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the annual meeting.
