三菱重工、菱重F&Pの不動産関連事業を別会社化して株式の70％をJR西日本に譲渡

グループのアセットマメジメントを強化

東京, 2016年11月01日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱重工業は31日、グループの不動産関連事業を再編する方針を決定しました。当社100％出資の菱重ファシリティー＆プロパティーズ株式会社（菱重F&P）の不動産関連事業を別会社化※して、株式の70％を西日本旅客鉄道株式会社（JR西日本）に譲渡するものです。株式譲渡価格は970億円です。

当社は2015年度からの3ヵ年にわたる中期経営計画「2015事業計画」の中で財務基盤の強化をはかるためのアセットマネジメントを進めることとしており、今回のJR西日本との事業提携は、この方針に則ったものです。

JR西日本は、持続的成長につなげていくために不動産事業を非運輸業のコア事業の1つと位置づけており、当社アセットマネジメントにおける最も適切なパートナーであると考えています。また協業を通じて新会社が同社の傘下となることにより、さらなる事業強化をはかることができるものと期待しています。

※ 工場・施設管理と建設および不動産関連の事業を手掛ける菱重F&Pの不動産関連事業を、本年7月に設立した新会社「菱重プロパティーズ株式会社」に2017年1月1日付で会社分割により承継。新会社株式のうち30％を当社が保有し、70%を同年2月1日付でJR西日本に譲渡する予定です。
