三菱電機、トルコの空調機生産拠点の生産体制強化

欧州およびトルコにおける空調機の需要増加に対応

東京, 2021年05月27日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、トルコの空調機生産拠点Mitsubishi Electric Turkey Klima Sistemleri Üretim Anonim Şirketi（三菱電機エア・コンディショニング・システムズ・マニュファクチャリング・トルコ、以下、MACT）において、欧州およびトルコで需要増加が見込まれるヒートポンプ式暖房・給湯機Air To Water※1（エア・トゥ・ウォーター）とルームエアコンの事業拡大に向け、約20億円を投資し、生産体制を強化します。

生産体制強化の内容

概要：現在のルームエアコンの年間生産50万台から、ルームエアコンと新たに取り扱うAir To Waterの合計で年間生産100万台へ増強
スケジュール：
- ルームエアコン　2021年10月増産開始
- Air to Water　2022年8月新規生産開始
投資金額：約167百万トルコリラ（約20億円）
省エネ・環境対策：増設する生産設備に省エネ性能が高い機器を採用、工場内の運搬機器の電動化を推進

背景と狙い

欧州およびトルコでは、脱炭素政策により、化石燃料を使用するボイラー式に代わり、省エネ性が高いヒートポンプ式暖房・給湯機の需要が急速に拡大しています。また、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大に伴う在宅時間の増加で、ルームエアコンの新設・増設ニーズが顕在化しており、今後も継続して需要拡大が見込まれます。

そこで当社は、市場への安定した製品供給を実現するため、MACTで新たにAir To Water の生産を開始するとともに、ルームエアコンの生産能力増強を行います。
