Honda、業務用作業機向け電動パワーユニット「eGX」の供給を開始

東京, 2021年05月31日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaは、小型の作業機用動力源として、電動（DC）パワーユニット「eGX（イージーエックス）」のOEM供給を6月より開始します。まずは日本にて供給を開始し、欧州、米国などへ順次供給地域を拡大していきます。このたび、2021年6月に米国にて開催される「World of Concrete Show 2021（開催期間2021年6月8日～10日場所：米国・ラスベガス）」にて実機展示を予定しています。

電動パワーユニットeGXは、さまざまな業務用作業機の動力源としてこれまで多くの作業機械メーカーからご支持をいただいている汎用エンジン「GX（ジーエックス）」シリーズの信頼性や搭載性を継承しています。また、フランジ取り付け穴およびシャフトの寸法をGXシリーズ※1と同一とし、優れた互換性を提供しているほか、一体型とセパレート型の2タイプの設定で、より多くの作業機への搭載を可能にしました。

eGXの搭載により電動パワーユニットの特性を活かすことで、換気が困難な場所や、夜間や住宅地などの騒音を回避したい使用環境での作業ニーズにお応えするとともに、操作性やメンテナンス性の向上による作業者の負担の軽減や、ゼロエミッションにも貢献します。
