昭和電工、塩素化ポリエチレンの国内販売価格改定を発表

東京, 2021年06月11日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社（社長：森川宏平）は、合成樹脂の一種である塩素化ポリエチレン（商標名：エラスレン(R)）の国内販売価格を引き上げることを決定致しました。

１．価格改定の内容

1) 値上げ幅
エラスレン(R) 粉末　25円／kg以上
エラスレン(R) シート　35円／kg以上

2) 実施時期
2021年7月1日出荷分より適用

２．価格改定の背景

昨今の原燃料高を背景とした主原料、各種ユーティリティの高騰、安定生産のための設備維持や環境対応の投資、及び物流費などの諸経費が上昇しています。

当社はこれまでも、物流や生産の合理化などによるコストダウンに努めてまいりましたが、自助努力の限界を超える状況に至っております。今後も両製品の安定供給を維持するためには、お客様に一部負担をお願いせざるを得ないとの結論に達しました。

エラスレン(R)は、ポリエチレンの分子構造に含まれる水素の一部が塩素に置き換わることでポリエチレンの結晶性が崩れ、柔軟な特性を持った特長あるポリマーです。エラスレン(R)は難燃・耐油・耐候性があり、自動車用ホース・電線被覆材の原料や、樹脂の改質材（難燃性、耐衝撃性付与）として利用されています。
