昭和電工、グリシンの販売価格改定を発表

東京, 2021年08月30日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社（社長：森川宏平）は、アミノ酸の一種で主に食品添加物として使われるグリシンの販売価格を引き上げることを決定いたしました。

１．価格改定の内容

(1)値上げ幅
50円／kg以上

(2)実施時期
2021年9月16日出荷分より

２．価格改定の背景

グリシンは主に食品の日持ち向上、うまみの増進や苦みの抑制のために幅広く使用されています。

グリシン事業は、原材料の価格上昇、包装材などの諸資材費用増加に加え、物流諸費用の高騰により厳しい事業環境にあります。さらに、安定生産のための設備維持や品質管理のための費用も増加しています。本製品の原材料の安定確保・製品の安定供給を維持するため、自助努力を重ねてまいりましたが、お客様にコスト上昇分の一部についてご負担をお願いせざるを得ないとの結論に達しました。
