マツダ、世界的なESG投資指標「Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index」に5年連続で選定

広島, 2021年11月29日 - (JCN Newswire) - マツダ株式会社（以下、マツダ）は、このたび、世界的なESG投資指標*1の一つである「Dow Jones Sustainability Index（以下、DJSI）」*2のアジア・太平洋版「Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index（以下、DJSI Asia Pacific Index）」の構成銘柄に5年連続で選定されました。

「DJSI」は、環境対応、社会貢献、人材育成、企業統治、法令順守など、さまざまな項目から企業の持続可能性を評価し、年に1度、業種別に優れた企業を選定しています。

2021年度の選定においては、調査票への回答内容に加えて、「マツダサステナビリティレポート」や「アニュアルレポート」をはじめとする定期発行物や公式ウェブサイトを通じた情報発信などが総合的に審査され、マツダの取り組みや情報開示について高い評価を受けました。なお今回「DJSI Asia Pacific Index」には、マツダを含むアジア・太平洋地域の主要企業約600社中、日本企業は77社、自動車業種は3社が選定されています。
