昭和電工、塩素化ポリエチレンの販売価格改定を発表

東京, 2022年01月31日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社（社長：髙橋秀仁）は、合成樹脂の一種である塩素化ポリエチレン（商標名：エラスレン(R)）の販売価格を以下のとおり引き上げることを決定いたしました。

１．価格改定の内容

(1)値上げ幅

エラスレン(R) 粉末: 35円／kg以上
エラスレン(R) シート: 35円／kg以上

(2)実施時期

2022年2月16日出荷分より適用

２．価格改定の背景

エラスレン(R)は、樹脂とゴムの中間的な性質を持つ柔軟性のあるポリマーで難燃・耐油・耐候性があり、自動車用ホース・電線被覆材の原料や樹脂の改質材（難燃性、耐衝撃性付与）として利用されています。

エラスレン(R)を取り巻く事業環境は、昨今の原燃料高を背景としたポリエチレンをはじめとする原料や電力コストの高騰及び安定供給を維持するための輸送費等の上昇に伴い、大変厳しい状況が続いております。

当社は、生産の合理化や物流の効率化等によるコストダウンに努めてまいりましたが、本製品の安定供給を維持するためには、お客様にコスト上昇分の一部についてご負担をお願いせざるを得ないとの結論に達しました。
