東風汽車集団と共同で、Hondaの燃料電池システムを搭載した商用トラックの走行実証実験を開始

東京, 2023年01月11日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaの中国現地法人である本田技研工業（中国）投資有限公司（本社：北京総経理井上勝史）は、2023年1月11日現地時間16時（日本時間：17時）に以下を発表しましたので、その内容をご案内いたします。

Hondaの中国現地法人である本田技研工業（中国）投資有限公司（以下、Honda）は、2050年のカーボンニュートラル実現に向け、東風汽車集団股※有限公司（以下、東風汽車集団）と共同で、Hondaの燃料電池（FC）システムを搭載した商用トラックの走行実証実験を湖北省で2023年1月に開始しました。

Hondaは、2050年までにカーボンニュートラルを実現することを目指しており、その実現に向けた技術の一つであるFCシステムの応用や展開に取り組んでいます。東風汽車集団とHondaは、20年以上にわたるパートナーシップのもと、中国における乗用車事業を行っています。今回の実証実験は、東風汽車集団が長年培ってきた商用車開発のノウハウと、Hondaが長年開発に取り組んでいるFC技術を掛け合わせた、中国でのカーボンニュートラル実現に向けた新たな取り組みとなります。

実証実験の開始に向け、これまで両社は東風汽車集団の商用トラックに対するHondaのFCシステムの適合性について検証を行ってきました。今後は、実走行を含むさまざまな条件下での環境適合性、燃費性能、耐久性などを確認し、商用車ユースにおけるHondaのFCシステムの有用性を検証していきます。
