Freetech Successfully Completed Shanghai Municipal Road Maintenance Project

HONG KONG, Mar 17, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Freetech Road Recycling Technology (Holdings) Limited ("Freetech", or the "Group;" stock code: 6888), a leading and fast-growing service provider in the asphalt pavement maintenance ("APM") industry using "Hot-in-Place" recycling technology, today announced the successful completion of its asphalt pavement maintenance service at Jinshan Avenue in Shanghai, the People's Republic of China.

Jinshan Avenue is the main road of Shanghai City and also a freight corridor of Shanghai Petrochemical, subsidiary of Sinopec (a super-huge national state-owned enterprise in the People's Republic of China) to its dedicated port. The challenge of this case is this road had high traffic volume of heavy vehicles from Shanghai Petrochemical to the port and required larger force-resistance than other road. Also, this road was paved by SMA asphalt mixture (a high temperature resistance asphalt mixture), which required special heating technology.

By using the patented Hot-in-Place recycling technology and equipment, the Group successfully satisfied the maintenance requirements through the adjustment of the asphalt mixture. A qualified independent third party testing institution has issued a report stating that the test indexes of this project after the road maintenance services have satisfied the national regulatory requirements.

There are lots of dedicated freight corridor for large mines, chemical industries and machinery enterprises in the People's Republic of China, which have similar maintenance requirements to this project. Under these conditions, this project could be a sample road maintenance project for other similar road maintenance projects in the future.

About Hot-in-Place Technology
Hot-in-Place Technology is used in asphalt pavement maintenance, an on-site, in-place technology that rehabilitates deteriorated asphalt pavements through heating, scarifying and mixing the damaged asphalt materials with new materials and thereby minimises the use of new materials. The primary purpose of this process is to repair pavement damages such as cracks, ruts and holes, and bumps.
