ACS Selected for "Forbes Asia's Best Under a Billion" for the Third Time

HONG KONG, Aug 03, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Advanced Card Systems Holdings Ltd. ("ACS"; SEHK: 8210), Asia Pacific's leading supplier and one of the world's top three vendors of PC-linked smart card readers1, has been honoured as one of Forbes Asia's Best Under a Billion companies in 2015. This is the third time that ACS has been included in the list, while ACS was also included in the 2010 and 2014 lists.

The unranked list comprises the 200 top-performing companies among 17,000 of Asia Pacific's publicly-listed companies, with revenues between USD5 million and USD1 billion. Performance was measured by the average return on investments over the latest five-year period, in addition to the requirement of consistent growth, modest level of debts and sufficient trading volume. Candidates must also be free from major legal issues and must not have engaged in dubious accounting or management practices. ACS is privileged to be one of only two companies from Hong Kong's technology sector.
