Hua Hong Semiconductor's Shipment of Smart Meter ICs in 1H 2015 Posts Record High
HONG KONG, Aug 05, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Hua Hong Semiconductor Limited ("Hua Hong Semiconductor" or the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"; stock code: 1347), a global leading pure-play 200mm foundry, announced that the total shipment of its smart meter ICs, including Security, MCU, SoC, PLC and Metering chips, amounted to 130 million, a record high figure, in the first half of 2015, and grew by 50 percent year-on-year. This is mainly attributable to the Company's embedded flash (eFlash) solution that has won recognition and support by its excellent reliability performance from more and more smart meter chip suppliers.
