ホンダ、熊本製作所が通常稼働を開始

東京, 2016年08月24日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaは平成28年熊本地震の影響により、熊本製作所(熊本県菊池郡大津町)の生産について、8月中旬の復旧を目標に全社一丸となって取り組んでまいりましたが、このたび、復旧の準備が整いましたのでお知らせいたします。

震災発生後、熊本製作所の生産については、4月14日夜から一旦休止し、5月6日より海外生産拠点への部品供給を再開。汎用完成機組み立ては5月13日より、被害の大きかった二輪完成車組み立てについては、6月6日より主要機種の組み立てを少量生産で再開し、段階的に生産量を増やしてまいりました。このたび、大型モデルを生産するFUNラインについて生産準備が整ったことにより、8月22日より、ほぼ通常稼動での生産となりました。

また軽自動車の委託生産先である八千代工業株式会社四日市製作所(本社:埼玉県狭山市)においては、弊社熊本製作所にて生産しておりました軽四輪エンジン部品の供給停止のため、4月22日より一部生産を縮小して稼動、通常稼動には半年程要する予定としておりました。現在は、熊本製作所にてこれまで生産していた軽四輪エンジン部品の一部を鈴鹿製作所(三重県鈴鹿市)へ移管し、早期安定供給にむけて生産体制を整えている状況です。
