世界港湾都市フォーラム閉幕、出席者ら共同宣言に署名／台湾・高雄

台湾・高雄市, 2016年09月13日 - (JCN Newswire) - より効率的でバイタリティ溢れる港湾都市の実現を目的に、台湾南部の港町・高雄市で開催された「2016世界港湾都市フォーラム」は8日、3日間の日程を終えて閉幕しました。閉幕式では各都市の代表が港湾都市共同宣言に署名し、産業の転換、持続可能な開発、港湾都市間の連携、海洋文化などの面で形成されたコンセンサスを読み上げました。

フォーラムには世界25カ国から49都市の代表が参加しました。港湾都市をめぐる管理経験の共有、提携内容の確認のほか、環境保全・持続可能な海洋資源の開発など、港湾都市が直面する共通の課題についても意見交換をし、解決策が練られました。

閉会の挨拶に立った陳菊高雄市長は、港湾都市が提携し共栄に向けた第一歩だと話し、フォーラムで学んだ経験と同市で確認された提携計画を向こう2年を目途に実現したいと意気込み、2年後、2回目の会合が開かれた際、より多くの民間企業が参画し、文化や経済、技術面でより実質的な交流ができるよう期待を寄せました。

生活環境や公共交通の品質向上に取り組んできた高雄市では、来年車に依存した交通体系の見直しなど、環境配慮型の移動について議論する国際会議が行われます。陳市長は「ぜひ足を運んでください」とご来場を呼びかけました。
