ホンダ、北米向け新型「CR-V」を発表

東京, 2016年10月14日 - (JCN Newswire) - Hondaの米国現地法人であるアメリカン・ホンダモーター(本社:カリフォルニア州トーランス社長:神子柴寿昭)は、現地時間2016年10月13日に以下を発表しましたので、その内容をご案内いたします。

新型CR-V

Hondaは、北米向け新型「CR-V」を今冬の発売に先駆けて、発表しました。

米国で1997年にデビューして以来、CR-Vは人気のSUVセグメントの中でも20年近くベストセラーの地位を守り続け、Hondaを代表するグローバルモデルに成長し、これまでに米国内で累計約400万台を販売してきました。

5代目となる新型CR-Vは、従来の2.4L 直噴 DOHC i-VTECエンジンに加え、今回初めて1.5L 直噴ターボエンジン※1を搭載し、これまで以上に力強い走りと優れた燃費性能の両立を達成しました。エクステリア、インテリアともに全面的に刷新し、さらに精悍でスポーティーな外観と、広く快適で上質な室内空間を実現しています。また、先進の安全運転支援システムである「Honda SENSING」※1を搭載するなど、あらゆる面において新たな価値を提供する、コンパクトSUVのベンチマークとなることを目指して開発されました。

新型CR-Vの北米での生産は、オハイオ州イースト・リバティ工場とカナダ・オンタリオ工場に加え、今回初めてインディアナ工場でも行われます。
