NEC、慶大病院のネットワークをSDNで構築

東京, 2016年10月18日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、慶應義塾大学病院(所在地:東京都新宿区、病院長:竹内勤)のネットワークをSDN(注1)で構築しました。

慶應義塾大学病院ではこれまで、診療に使い秘匿性の高い患者の個人情報を扱う病院ネットワークと研究に使う医学部ネットワークが、それぞれ別のネットワークとして構築されており、一体化が課題となっていました。このため新病院棟建設に合わせ、基礎研究と臨床医療の連携を実現し医師の利便性を高めるとともに、セキュリティが確保された院内ネットワークの構築を決定しました。

NECのSDNソリューションは、複数ネットワーク間連携による利便性の向上、ネットワーク毎のセキュリティ確保、業務を止めないネットワーク運用管理などに優れており、慶應義塾大学病院が抱えるネットワークの課題解決に貢献しました。慶應義塾大学病院は今後、ネットワークの拡張に合わせてSDNソリューションの適用範囲を順次拡大していく計画です。
