昭和電工、苛性ソーダの価格改定について

東京, 2017年02月01日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社（社長：森川宏平）は､苛性ソーダの価格改定を次のとおり行うことを決定し、お客様との交渉を開始いたします。

１．価格改定の内容

(1) 上昇幅: 10円/kg以上（固形換算値）
(2) 実施時期: 2017年3月1日出荷分より

２．価格改定の背景

苛性ソーダは、紙・パルプや石油化学などのさまざまな分野で使われる基礎化学品です。

当社のソーダ電解事業を取り巻く環境は、エネルギー・電力コストの上昇により、長期に亘って厳しい状況が続いております。加えて、安全・安定供給の実現に不可欠な物流面においてもコストが上昇している状況にあります。

国内需給がひっ迫傾向にある中、今後とも本製品を安全・安定に供給するとともに事業の維持継続を行うには、自助努力によるコスト削減に加えて、お客様にコストアップ分の一部のご負担をお願いせざるを得ないとの結論に至りました。
