MHIヴェスタス、V164-8.0MWの高出力モデルが風力発電・単機発電量の世界記録を達成

9,000kWで24時間の発電量21万6,000kWh

東京, 2017年02月03日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱重工業とデンマークのヴェスタス社（Vestas Wind Systems A/S）の洋上風力発電設備合弁会社であるMHI Vestas Offshore Wind A/S（MHIヴェスタス）は、定格出力8,000kWの洋上風力発電設備であるV164-8.0MWのプロトタイプ機を9,000kWまで高出力化した新モデルを用いて、24時間で21万6,000kWhの発電を2016年12月1日に記録しました。1基の風力発電設備が1日に達成した発電量としては世界最高です。

新モデルのV164は、特定の条件下で9,000kW運転を達成したものです。出力を増大させることにより、ウィンドファームの設置基数を削減できることから、投資費用の抑制が可能になります。また、既存のV164プロトタイプ機のプラットフォームを活用したことで、信頼性の向上にもつながっています。

今回の世界記録は、デンマーク北部ウスタイル（Osterild）試験場において24時間実施された陸上実証運転で達成されたもので、出力9,000kWで市場に投入できることを証明しました。

ベースとなったV164-8.0MWは、英国バーボバンク（Burbo Bank）洋上風力拡張プロジェクト（32基、25万6,000kW級）向けですでに据付を完了しており、受注済み設備の総発電出力は160万kWを超えています。
