トヨタ、プレジャーボート「PONAM-28V」が日本ボート・オブ・ザ・イヤー2016を受賞

豊田, 2017年03月02日 - (JCN Newswire) - トヨタ自動車株式会社（以下、トヨタ）は、昨年10月に発売したプレジャーボート「PONAM-28V」が2016年の日本ボート・オブ・ザ・イヤーを受賞したと発表した。

日本ボート・オブ・ザ・イヤーを受賞した「PONAM-28V」

同賞は、2016年に国内で新たに発売されたレクリエーション用ボートの中から、新しいコンセプトや新機構、新素材などを採用し、市場に最もインパクトを与えたボートに対して贈られる。同賞に先立ち、小型艇部門など7つの部門賞と特別賞が選ばれ、「PONAM-28V」は中型艇部門とBest Value部門の2部門で部門賞を獲得。今回、部門賞を受賞したボートの中から選出される日本ボート・オブ・ザ・イヤーに選ばれた。

「PONAM-28V」は、高い走航性と乗り心地を両立させるとともに、キャビンの高級感と居住性にもこだわった「プレミアムスポーツクルーザー」として開発された。ハル（ボートの船体）の素材にはアルミとFRP（繊維強化プラスチック）に、新たにカーボン繊維を加えた「トヨタハイブリッドハル」を採用。FRPハルと比較して約7倍の高い剛性を実現し、アルミハルとの比較で船体重量を約10％低減した。

なお、「PONAM-28V」はパシフィコ横浜で開催中の「ジャパンインターナショナルボートショー2017＊」の会場に展示される。
