丸紅・川崎重工・日立、台湾桃園国際空港線を開業

東京, 2017年03月02日 - (JCN Newswire) - 丸紅株式会社(以下「丸紅」)、川崎重工業株式会社(以下「川崎重工」)、株式会社日立製作所(以下「日立」)が共同で、2006年1月に鉄道システム一式供給並びに車両基地の建設を受注した桃園国際空港線(以下「空港線」)が、本日開業しました。

空港線は、台湾初の空港アクセス線で、台北駅から年間約4,000万人が利用する桃園国際空港を経由し郊外住宅圏(中壢区)まで運行する総延長約51km(21駅)の路線です。また、空港線は台湾初の急行列車と普通列車の混合運行であり、沿線住民の重要な交通手段として移動時間の短縮になるとともに、交通渋滞の緩和につながると期待されています。空港利用者向けに台北市内での荷物のインタウンチェックイン機能を備えており、荷物を持ち歩くことなく身軽に行動することができ、高い利便性を誇ります。

本プロジェクトにおいては、丸紅が全体の取り纏め、信号・通信システム、軌道敷設工事などを、川崎重工が車両を、日立が変電システムを担当しています。

丸紅、川崎重工、日立は今後も高品質の鉄道技術を提供することにより、海外の交通インフラ整備と環境に配慮した経済発展に貢献していきます。
