三菱重工、商船事業のアライアンスで大島造船所と基本合意

グローバル市場での競争力強化へ

東京, 2017年06月14日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱重工業は、商船事業分野でのアライアンス形成について協議してきた株式会社大島造船所（社長：南宣之氏、本社：長崎県西海市）と基本合意に達しました。グローバル市場における事業競争力強化に向け、互いの独立性を尊重しながら、相互補完やシナジーを追求し、持続的な成長を目指します。

大島造船所との合意は、技術提携による新船型・新技術の開発、設計・建造や各種ツールの標準化および艤装品の共通化、両社が持つ建造能力の機能的な活用に関してのもので、今治造船株式会社（社長：檜垣幸人氏、本社：愛媛県今治市）および株式会社名村造船所（社長：名村建介氏、本社：大阪市西区）の両社と、本年3月末にそれぞれ基本合意したことに続くものです。具体的な事業への反映については、個別に契約を締結していく予定です。

当社は、長年培ってきた省エネ技術や環境対策技術を中心としたエンジニアリング力を中核に、この新たなアライアンスを通じて事業競争力を強化し、世界規模で急激に変化する造船業界で日本の造船業のプレゼンス向上につなげていきます。
