トヨタ、オートモビルカウンシル 2017に出展

プリウス誕生からハイブリッド技術20年の変遷を紹介

豊田, 2017年07月21日 - (JCN Newswire) - トヨタ自動車株式会社（以下、トヨタ）は、8月4日（金）から6日（日）までの3日間、幕張メッセ（千葉市美浜区）で開催される「AUTOMOBILE COUNCIL 2017」に出展する。

「プリウス誕生20年」をテーマに、自動車の動力源の歴史を紹介しながら、初代プリウス開発時のエピソードやプリウスが社会に与えた影響などを紹介する。

展示車両は初代プリウスやプリウスシリーズのリーディングカーである新型プリウスPHVに加え、1977年の東京モーターショーに出展したハイブリッド車「トヨタスポーツ800 ガスタービン・ハイブリッド」、ハイブリッドで過酷な耐久レースに挑んでいる「TOYOTA GAZOO Racing TS050 HYBRID」を展示する。

トヨタは、本イベントの“日本に自動車文化の創生を図りたい”との主旨に共感し、昨年の「カローラ誕生50年」に引き続き出展する。
