昭和電工、電子材料用フッ素系高純度ガスの価格改定について

東京, 2017年08月01日 - (JCN Newswire) - 昭和電工株式会社（社長：森川宏平）は、半導体等の電子材料用に使用されるフッ素系高純度ガスの価格改定を以下のとおり行うことを決定し、このたびお客様との交渉を開始いたします。

１．価格改定の内容

(1) 対象製品:
高純度FC-116（以下分子式、C2F6）
高純度FC-14（以下分子式、CF4）

(2)値上げ幅: ＋500円/Kg

(3)実施時期: 2017年9月1日以降納入分より適用

２．価格改定の背景

C2F6は、半導体の製造において、シリコン基板の上を覆う薄膜を生成する際に、その工程で使われる製造設備内に付着する不要な化学物質を取り除くためのガス（クリーニングガス）として主に使われます。またCF4は、半導体・液晶パネル・窒化ガリウム系LED・多結晶シリコン系太陽電池の製造において、基板の上を覆う薄い膜に、微細な溝や孔を刻みつけて電子回路等を作るためのガス（エッチングガス）として主に使われます。

フッ素系高純度ガスを取り巻く環境につきましては、需要は引き続き旺盛である一方、原燃料価格の高騰などにより製造コストは増加しております。これまで、生産効率の向上等によりコストダウンを進めてまいりましたが、自助努力での対応は限界に達しております。このため、今後とも本製品の安定供給体制を継続するためには、お客様にコスト上昇分の一部のご負担をお願いせざるを得ないとの結論に至りました。
