三菱商事: ユニクロロシア事業の合弁化に関するお知らせ

東京, 2017年09月11日 - (JCN Newswire) - 株式会社ファーストリテイリング（代表取締役会長兼社長：柳井正）と三菱商事株式会社（代表取締役社長：垣内威彦）は、ロシアでユニクロ事業を展開する子会社Limited Liability Company UNIQLO (RUS) （以下、UNIQLO(RUS)）の第三者割当増資を、三菱商事株式会社が引き受け、合弁会社とすることについて合意いたしましたので、お知らせいたします。

株式会社ファーストリテイリングは、2010年にロシアに進出し、以降展開するユニクロブランドの店舗数を20店舗（2017年8月末現在）まで拡大してきました。三菱商事株式会社は1968年より同地に進出しており、エネルギー事業や自動車販売事業をはじめ、幅広く事業展開を行っております。

両社は、今後、ロシア市場においてさらなる事業拡大をめざすため、UNIQLO(RUS) の合弁会社化により、三菱商事株式会社の長年の知見も活かし、出店の加速化、ユニクロブランドの知名度の向上を図り、事業基盤をより強固なものにしてまいります。

今回の増資により、株式会社ファーストリテイリングの持分比率は75％、三菱商事株式会社の持分比率は25％となります。
