ソニー: 4K 3Dビデオ技術搭載の手術用顕微鏡システムの開発について

東京, 2017年09月19日 - (JCN Newswire) - ソニーイメージングプロダクツ＆ソリューションズ株式会社（社長：石塚茂樹、以下ソニー）とオリンパス株式会社（社長：笹宏行、以下オリンパス）の医療事業に関する合弁会社であるソニー・オリンパスメディカルソリューションズ株式会社（社長：津末陽一、以下ソニー・オリンパスメディカルソリューションズ）は、4K 3Dビデオ技術を搭載し、高精細かつ立体的なデジタル画像で緻密な手術をサポートする手術用顕微鏡システムを、三社協業のもとで開発し、オリンパスにより製品化しました。

この新製品は、オリンパス製の手術用顕微鏡としてORBEYE（オーブアイ）のブランド名で、2017年10月上旬からオリンパスの販路で日本と米国にて順次発売予定です。三社協業のもと開発した製品としては、2015年に発表した4K技術を搭載する外科手術用内視鏡システムに次ぐ成果となります。

本製品は、従来光学式が中心であった手術用顕微鏡システムに対する新たな提案として、ソニーがもつ4Kおよび3D映像技術や小型化技術と、オリンパスの有する外科領域の各種ノウハウや知見を融合し、開発されました。

新しい手術用顕微鏡システムとして次のような特長を備えています。

1. 4K 3Dの高精細デジタル画像により、緻密な手術をサポート
2. 4K 3Dの大型55型モニターによる観察を実現し、術者の疲労軽減とチームサージャリーに貢献
3. 顕微鏡部の大幅な小型化（従来機体積比95％減）を実現し、広い手術空間の確保やセットアップ時間の短縮が可能
