トヨタ博物館、「MOTOR PANIC―まつやまたかしイラスト展」を開催

イラストで巡る世界7か所の名所と名車

豊田, 2017年09月20日 - (JCN Newswire) - トヨタ自動車(株)の文化施設であるトヨタ博物館（愛知県長久手市）では、10月14日（土）から2018年1月28日（日）まで、「MOTOR PANIC―まつやまたかしイラスト展」を開催する。

まつやま氏は、2011年より〝世界の街を走る車″をテーマとした「MOTOR PANIC」シリーズを制作しており、これまでに4作品が公開されている。本イラスト展では、世界の車を幅広く収蔵するトヨタ博物館として特別に制作依頼していた3作品（ロンドン、ベルリン、イタリア）が完成したことを受け、すでに公開されている4点とあわせ、描かれた車とともに一堂に展示する。ロンドン、ベルリン、イタリアをテーマとした新作3点は初公開となる。

まつやま氏の作品は、世界の名所を舞台として、街を行きかうたくさんの人々とともに、新旧さまざまな車を多彩な色づかいで華やかに楽しく表現し、クラシックカーに興味のある方はもちろん、幅広い方に親しみやすく楽しめるものになっている。本イラスト展は、イラストと描かれた車の実車を合わせて見ることで、より多くの人が車を身近に感じ、自動車文化への想いを深めてもらうことを狙いとしている。

関連イベントとして、会場内でのライブペイントや、当館スタッフを交えてのギャラリートークを実施する。また、珈琲を楽しみながらクルマとイラストについて語り合う大人のためのトークイベントも行う。

また、毎年春と秋に開催している「走行披露」を10月21日（土）、28日（土）、11月11日（土）に開催する。
