デンソー、家庭用自然冷媒CO2 ヒートポンプ給湯機「エコキュート」の新モデルを発売

東京, 2017年10月05日 - (JCN Newswire) - 株式会社デンソー（本社：愛知県刈谷市、社長：有馬浩二）は、家庭用自然冷媒CO2ヒートポンプ給湯機「エコキュート」＊１の新モデル計13機種を11月28日に発売開始します。

今回、新たな機能として屋外でも給湯することができる「外でも給湯」機能を搭載しました。これまでエコキュートは、主にお風呂や洗面所など屋内での給湯に使われてきましたが、屋外での給湯のニーズにこたえるため、今回新モデルを開発しました。

新モデルでは、屋外に設置する貯湯ユニットに給湯用の水栓を装備し、ホースを接続することで、屋外でも簡単にお湯を利用することができます。また給湯機のリモコンで温度を調節することができ、お好みの温度で給湯することが可能です。これにより、庭での水遊びやガーデニングなど水を使ったアクティビティや、洗車や掃除など屋外での水仕事の際に簡単にお湯を使うことができます。

エコキュートは、2001年にデンソーと東京電力株式会社、財団法人電力中央研究所が共同で開発し、自然冷媒（CO2）を使い空気の熱でお湯をわかす給湯機として、世界で初めて製品化されました。デンソーは、自動車関連部品で培ってきた技術をベースに、HEMS(Home Energy Management System)やエコキュート、家庭用蓄電池などを通じて住宅におけるエネルギーの最適利用を促進し、低炭素社会の実現に取り組んでいきます。

＊1「エコキュート」とは電力会社・給湯機メーカーが使用している「家庭用自然冷媒CO2ヒートポンプ給湯機」を総称する愛称です。
