エーザイ、中年期以降のもの忘れ改善薬「遠志（オンジ）の恵み(R)」新発売

東京, 2017年10月10日 - (JCN Newswire) - エーザイ株式会社（本社：東京都、代表執行役 CEO：内藤晴夫）は、中年期以降のもの忘れ改善薬「遠志の恵み(R)」（第 3 類医薬品）を本日、10 月 10 日（火）に全国の薬局・薬店、ドラッグストアにて新発売します。

「遠志の恵み」は、オンジエキスを成分とする「中年期以降の物忘れの改善」を効能・効果とする第3 類医薬品です。イトヒメハギの根を乾燥させた生薬である遠志（オンジ）には、おもに、記憶に関する機能を改善する作用が認められています。本剤について、小型化した 1 回 1 錠の生薬製剤にするとともに、錠剤をコーティングすることで生薬独特の風味を抑え、服用しやすい工夫をしています。

当社が実施した調査によると、40 代以降の 4 割以上の方が「物事や人の名前が思い出せなくなった」「同じことを何度も話してしまう」等のもの忘れを実感し、不安を感じていると回答しています。しかし、これらは加齢によるものと考えられて対処されにくいのが現状です。「遠志の恵み」は中年期以降のもの忘れが気になる方の記憶の機能を改善させます。
