ソニー、New Concept Cart（ニューコンセプトカート）SC-1を開発

東京, 2017年10月24日 - (JCN Newswire) - ソニー株式会社は、AI×ロボティクスの取り組みを加速しており、その一貫として新たな移動体験の提供を目的としたNew Concept Cart（ニューコンセプトカート） SC-1を試作開発しました。SC-1は乗員の操作による運転に加え、クラウドを介して遠隔からの操作でも走行が可能です。

SC-1の特長は、人の視覚能力を超えるイメージセンサーを車両前後左右に搭載していることから、人が視認しながら運転する一般的な自動車と違い、360度全ての方向にフォーカスが合された映像で周囲の環境を把握できることに加え、搭載したイメージセンサーの超高感度な特性と、内部に設置された高解像度ディスプレイにより、乗員が夜間でもヘッドライトなしに視認できることです。

また、イメージセンサーで周囲を捉えていることから窓が不要となり、代わりにその領域に高精細ディスプレイを配置することで、様々な映像を車両の周囲にいる人に対して映し出すことができます。さらにイメージセンサーで得られた映像をAI（人工知能）で解析することでインタラクティブに発信する情報を変化させることができます。この機能により、車両周囲にいる人の性別・年齢などの属性を判断して、最適な広告や情報を表示することなども可能です。
