ソニー・グローバルエデュケーション、総務省実証事業「『次世代学校ICT環境』の整備に向けた実証」において実証団体候補に決定

東京, 2017年10月25日 - (JCN Newswire) - 株式会社ソニー・グローバルエデュケーション（代表取締役社長：礒津政明）は、総務省スマートスクール・プラットフォーム実証事業「『次世代学校ICT環境』の整備に向けた実証」において、実証団体候補として採択されたことを発表します。事業運営は、学校設置者である川越市教育委員会、サービス等提供事業者及びプロジェクトマネージャーであるソニー・グローバルエデュケーションが実施する体制です。

総務省スマートスクール・プラットフォーム実証事業は、2020年代を見据え、学校現場におけるクラウド活用・データ活用の基盤となる次世代の学校ICT環境整備の在り方について、先端技術（EdTech）活用モデルにより実証を行うものとしています。例えば、AI、ブロックチェーン、ロボットの活用等を想定したモデルにより、学校現場における課題に関し、先端技術を利用することによる解決策について実証するものとなります。
