東京, 2017年10月27日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱重工業株式会社および国立研究開発法人宇宙航空研究開発機構(JAXA)は、H-IIAロケット37号機(高度化仕様)による気候変動観測衛星「しきさい」(GCOM-C)／超低高度衛星技術試験機「つばめ」(SLATS)の打上げについて、下記のとおり実施することをお知らせいたします。

打上げ予定日：平成29年12月23日(土)
打上げ予定時間帯：10時26分22秒～10時48分22秒(日本標準時)
打上げ予備期間：平成29年12月24日(日)～平成30年1月31日(水)
打上げ場所：種子島宇宙センター　大型ロケット発射場

なお、H-IIAロケット37号機には、「しきさい」及び「つばめ」をそれぞれ異なる高度の軌道に打ち上げるJAXA開発の技術が初めて適用されています。本技術により、衛星の相乗り打上げ機会が拡大し、H-IIAロケットの打上げ能力を最大限活用することが可能となります。
