三菱電機、「MELSEC iQ-RシリーズIEC61508 SIL2対応 二重化シーケンサ」を発売
国際安全規格適合の二重化システム構築を実現
東京, 2017年10月30日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、汎用シーケンサ（プログラマブルコントローラ）「MELSEC iQ-Rシリーズ 二重化シーケンサ」の新製品として、国際安全規格に適合し、大規模から小規模まで柔軟に高性能・高信頼システムが構築できる「IEC61508 SIL2対応 二重化シーケンサ※1」を10月31日に発売します。本製品は、計装制御※2と安全制御※3の統合により、TCO（Total Cost of Ownership）削減にも貢献します。
新製品の特長
1. 国際安全規格に適合しグローバルニーズに対応
- 第三者認証機関であるTUV Rheinland(R)（テュフ ラインランド）から社会インフラ分野向けシステムで要求される国際安全規格IEC61508 SIL2※4の認証を取得し、グローバルニーズに対応
2. 計装制御と安全制御の統合によりTCOの削減に貢献
- エンジニアリングソフトウェア「GX Works3」により、従来別々であった計装制御と安全制御のプログラミングを一元化
- 1つのCPUユニット（制御プログラムを逐次実行するコントローラ）で実行できるので、TCOの削減に貢献
3. 二重化構成により高信頼システムを構築可能
- 基本システム（SIL2プロセスCPUセット※5 、電源ユニット、基本ベースユニット、ネットワークユニット）の二重化により、制御系で故障が発生しても待機系に制御が切替わり運転を継続
