富士通、処理性能を最大約50%向上させた、基幹IAサーバ「PRIMEQUEST」新シリーズを販売開始
最大で8CPU（224コア）の最新プロセッサ、32TBの超高速NVMe対応SSDを搭載可能
東京, 2017年11月08日 - (JCN Newswire) - 当社は、基幹IAサーバ「FUJITSU Server PRIMEQUEST（プライムクエスト）」において、最新のサーバ向けプロセッサ「インテル(R) Xeon(R) スケーラブル・プロセッサー」を搭載した新シリーズ「PRIMEQUEST 3000シリーズ」を11月8日より世界各国で販売開始します。
「PRIMEQUEST 3000シリーズ」は、1CPUあたり最大28コアの最新プロセッサを採用し、最大8CPU（224コア）を搭載可能です。また、メモリは最大12テラバイト（以下、TB）まで拡張できます。これにより、従来シリーズと比較し、処理性能を最大約50%向上（注1）させています。さらに、最新のストレージ接続規格NVMe対応のSSDを最大32TB搭載可能なため、大規模データベースへの高いアクセス性能を実現しています。なお、部品点数を絞り込んだことで、質量を従来比最大約30%削減、筐体サイズを従来の10Uから7Uのラックユニットに小型化し、全体の消費電力はCPUの消費電力が最大24%増加したにもかかわらず従来と同等以下を実現しています。
