ソニー、4Kライブ映像制作に対応したスイッチャーの最上位機種発売

4K実用放送開始を見据え、IPおよび12G-SDI※1の両インターフェースで対応可能に

東京, 2017年11月15日 - (JCN Newswire) - ソニーは、2018年より開始予定のBS 4K実用放送など、4Kライブ映像制作の需要の広がりを受けて、大規模なスポーツイベントや番組向けの4Kライブ映像制作に対応した、マルチフォーマットスイッチャープロセッサーの最上位機種『XVS-9000』を発売します。

ソニーは、IP化により4Kライブ制作ワークフローを効率的に構築するソリューションとして「IP Liveプロダクションシステム」の普及を推進しています。一方、SDIケーブルを使用し、従来のHD設備と同様の運用性を確保した4Kライブ制作を要望する声に応えるため、『XVS-9000』は、4K映像データを1本の同軸ケーブルで伝送できる映像インターフェース 12G-SDIにも対応します。4K信号で最大80入力および40出力※2に対応し、従来のHD運用の最大規模に匹敵する大規模なスポーツイベントや番組の4Kライブ制作への活用が可能です。入出力ボードを組み合わせた運用により、IPと12G-SDIを混在したシステム構築も可能です。

IPおよび12G-SDIの双方のインターフェースに対応予定の機種は、『XVS-9000』に加えて、『XVS-8000』を始めとしたXVSスイッチャーシリーズや、4K/HD対応システムカメラ『HDC-4300』用のベースバンドプロセッサーユニット『BPU-4500』、マルチフォーマットAVサーバー『PWS-4500』などとなります。2018年春以降、順次対応予定※3です。
