三菱電機、産業用ロボットの中国生産を開始

日本・中国の生産2拠点化により需要の拡大に対応

東京, 2017年11月16日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、中国の三菱電機自動化機器製造（常熟）有限公司（江蘇省常熟市）でのロボット生産を開始します。ロボット製造ラインは同社内の第二工場内に新設し、中国での生産開始は2018年6月を予定しています。名古屋製作所に加え生産を2拠点化することにより、全体の生産能力を2016年度比1.5倍とし、グローバルに拡大するロボット需要に対応します。

中国生産の狙い

中国では「中国製造2025」などの知能化・IoT化を進める国家プロジェクトや政府補助金施策による投資が活発化しており、スマートフォンなどの消費者向け電化製品の組み立ておよび同製品向けの部品業界におけるロボット需要が大きく伸長しています。

当社は、中国におけるエンドユーザーへのスペックイン活動の強化やSI（システムインテグレーター）パートナー網の拡充などにより受注の拡大を図るとともに、今般、拡張※を進めている三菱電機自動化機器製造（常熟）有限公司第二工場（2017年4月稼働開始）内にロボット製造ラインを新設し、中国市場におけるロボット需要の拡大に対応します。名古屋製作所と合わせ全体のロボット生産能力を2016年度比1.5倍とし、全世界で伸長する需要へ対応することでロボット事業のさらなる拡大を推進します。
