トヨタ自動車、第55回技能五輪全国大会にて4職種で金メダルを獲得

豊田, 2017年11月27日 - (JCN Newswire) - トヨタ自動車(株)（以下トヨタ）は、栃木県の宇都宮市体育館を含む県内17会場で開催された第55回技能五輪全国大会※（11/24～27）において、参加した10職種の内、4職種で金メダルを獲得した。

今回の大会では、1966年に技能五輪の参加に向けた取り組みを開始して以来、2人目となる女性社員が、木型職種において金メダルを獲得。なお、トヨタグループ全体では、合計8個の金メダルを獲得した。

今回の技能五輪全国大会の結果を受けて、豊田社長は「若きエンジニアたちが、日々の鍛錬の中で、多くの壁にぶつかりながらも自分自身の限界を乗り越え、それが結果に繋がったことを大変嬉しく思っている。選手のチャレンジを支えてくださった皆さまに心から感謝を申し上げたい。今後も、モノづくりを支え、発展させていくため、そしてもっといいクルマづくりのために、より高い技能を追求し続けて欲しい。」とコメントした。
