トヨタ自動車、トヨタマーケティングジャパンを統合

国内の商品企画から販売店活動まで一貫したマーケティングを目指す

豊田, 2017年11月27日 - (JCN Newswire) - トヨタ自動車株式会社（社長：豊田章男　以下、トヨタ）は本日、100％子会社の株式会社トヨタマーケティングジャパン（社長：村上秀一　以下、TMJ）を、2018年4月1日に統合することを決定した。国内の商品企画から販売店活動まで一貫したマーケティングを、機動的に企画・実施することを目指す。

TMJは2009年10月、業務の専門性と機動性を高めるため、トヨタから独立したマーケティング専門会社として設立。従来は車種ごとに分かれていた広告キャンペーンを、お客様から見た際のトヨタの魅力として統合した「TOYOTOWN」や、若者の社会貢献意識の高まりを捉えた「アクアソーシャルフェス」など、時流に合せて変化するお客様の意識に寄り添ったマーケティングを実施し、一定の成果を挙げてきた。

しかしながら、両社を取り巻く環境が急速に変化しており、マーケティング機能単独ではなく、商品企画や販売店ビジネスの企画・サポート機能が一体となって、即断・即決・即実行しなければ、世の中の変化に対応できないと判断。TMJをトヨタの国内事業・商品企画機能と統合することで、商品企画からプロモーション、販売店活動まで一貫したマーケティングを、機動的に企画・実施していく。また、近い将来のコネクティッド社会への対応や、モビリティサービスへの事業構造変革のスピードを高めていく。

なお2018年1月1日に業務移管、および人事異動を行い、2018年4月1日にトヨタがTMJを吸収合併する予定。
