三菱電機、ビジョンセンサ「MELSENSORシリーズ」新製品を発売
コグネックス社との共同開発、工場の生産効率と品質向上に貢献
東京, 2017年11月28日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、液晶・半導体・自動車・電子部品などの製造現場に使われるビジョンセンサ「MELSENSORシリーズ」の新製品として、コグネックス株式会社（以下、コグネックス社）と共同開発した「VS70」6機種と「VS80」9機種の計15機種を2018年1月に発売します。
本製品は、カメラで撮影した画像を用いて、対象物の有無検査や傷検査、寸法測定、位置決め検査などを容易に実施でき、さらなる工場の生産効率と品質向上に貢献します。
新製品の特長（コグネックス社との事業連携強化の第二弾）
1. 当社製FA製品との高い接続性により、容易にシステム構築が可能
- CC-Link IEフィールドネットワークBasicとiQSS※1機能を搭載し、当社製シーケンサや産業用ロボットなどのFA機器との接続が容易
- 対象物の有無検査や傷検査、寸法測定、位置決め検査などの検査データ・画像転送が容易なため、トレーサビリティーシステムの確立が容易
2.「PatMax RedLine(R)」搭載によりパターンマッチングの処理時間を短縮
- 高速・高精度な認識・識別を実現するコグネックス社製のアルゴリズム「PatMax RedLine(R)」を採用
- パターンマッチングの処理時間を10分の1に短縮※2し、生産性向上に貢献
3. 豊富なオプションとコントローラ・照明一体型をラインアップ
- レンズや照明など豊富なオプションにより、用途に合わせた測定および検査が可能【VS70】
- 手のひらサイズのコントローラ一体型は、狭い生産ラインにも設置可能。また、ロボットハンド搭載時にも省スペース化・省配線化を実現【VS80】
