日立が韓国に昇降機の新会社を設立
東京, 2017年12月04日 - (JCN Newswire) - 株式会社日立製作所(執行役社長兼CEO:東原 敏昭／以下、日立)は、大韓民国(以下、韓国)の首都ソウルに、このたび、昇降機の販売・サービスを主な事業とするHitachi Elevator Korea Co., Ltd(社長:宋承奉／以下、日立エレベーター韓国社)を設立しました。日立エレベーター韓国社は、韓国において高品質かつ安全な製品・サービスを提供し、豊かで心地よい生活環境の実現に貢献します。
韓国は中国、インドに次ぎ、昇降機の需要台数が世界で3番目*に多い有望な市場であり、年間の昇降機販売台数は4万台規模になります*。近年、ソウルなどの主要都市で再開発が進んでいることや、韓国国内の昇降機安全管理法規の改正による既設昇降機の入れ替え需要が見込めることから、今後も昇降機の需要は堅調に推移すると期待されています。
日立は、昇降機事業のグローバル展開に向けたフットプリント拡大に注力しており、近年ではカンボジア(2016年7月)やベトナム(2016年9月)、イギリス(2017年4月)に新たな拠点を設立しました。韓国では、1968年に現地企業と技術提携し、1984年には当時韓国国内で最も高いビルであった大韓生命ビルに、分速540mの高速エレベーター8台を納入した実績があります。
今後、日立は日立エレベーター韓国社を通して高品質な製品とサービスを提供し、現地に根差して韓国昇降機市場におけるプレゼンスを拡大していきます。
