三菱電機、トルコ共和国のルームエアコン新工場の稼働開始
欧州・トルコでの空調冷熱システム事業拡大に向けて現地生産を開始
東京, 2017年12月11日 - (JCN Newswire) - 三菱電機株式会社は、空調冷熱システム事業拡大に向けたルームエアコンの新たな開発・生産拠点であるトルコ共和国（以下、トルコ）のMitsubishi Electric Turkey Klima Sistemleri Uretim Anonim Şirketi（三菱電機エア・コンディショニング・システムズ・マニュファクチャリング・トルコ）の新工場を12月12日に稼働開始します。需要拡大が見込まれる欧州・トルコ市場での事業拡大に向け、2020年度までに年間生産台数50万台※1を目指します。
背景と狙い
当社の欧州における空調冷熱システム事業は順調に拡大しており、トルコにおいても経済成長や人口増加を背景に、今後需要の拡大が見込まれています。
当社は今回、欧州やトルコ市場での空調冷熱システム事業拡大のために2016年4月にトルコに設立した新会社において生産を開始します。
稼働開始する新工場では、需要変動に対応する製品供給体制と、各国の嗜好（しこう）・環境規制に合わせた製品開発体制を充実させ、現地化を加速することで欧州・トルコでのさらなる事業拡大を図ります。
