TOYOTA、ピクシスメガを一部改良

歩行者も検知対象とする衝突回避支援システム「スマートアシストIII」を設定

豊田, 2017年12月12日 - (JCN Newswire) - TOYOTAは、軽乗用車ピクシスメガを一部改良し、全国のトヨタカローラ店、ネッツ店ならびに、軽自動車市場比率の高い地域で取扱希望のあった一部のトヨタ店、トヨペット店を通じて、2018年1月8日に発売します。

今回の一部改良では、歩行者も検知対象とする緊急ブレーキ機能や夜間での歩行者の早期発見に貢献するオートハイビームなど、先進安全機能を進化させた衝突回避支援システム「スマートアシスト＊1III」を標準装備＊2しました。装着車は、経済産業省、国土交通省など政府が官民連携で推奨する安全運転サポート車＊3のうち高齢運転者に特に推奨する「セーフティ・サポートカーS（通称：サポカーS）」の「ワイド」に相当します。さらに、駐車時などに左右後方の障害物をブザー音で知らせるリヤコーナーセンサー＊2を追加するなど、安心な装備も充実させました。

ピクシスメガは、軽乗用車トップレベルの室内高1,455mm、5ナンバーミニバン並みのアイポイントなど、「広々とした室内空間」、「フレキシブルなラゲージスペース」、「視界の良さ」で、お客様のさまざまな生活シーンで活用いただいています。
