富士通など、5G NR本格開発を開始へ

3GPPにて、5G NR標準仕様の初版策定が完了

東京, 2017年12月21日 - (JCN Newswire) - AT&T、BT、China Mobile、China Telecom、China Unicom、Deutsche Telekom、Ericsson、富士通株式会社、Huawei、Intel、KT Corporation、LG Electronics、LG Uplus、MediaTek Inc.、日本電気株式会社、Nokia、株式会社NTTドコモ、Orange、Qualcomm Technologies,Inc.、Samsung Electronics、SK Telecom、ソニーモバイルコミュニケーションズ株式会社、Sprint、TIM、Telefonica、Telia Company、T-Mobile USA、Verizon、Vodafone、ZTEは、3GPP TSG RAN Plenary会合（注1）において5G NR（注2）標準仕様の初版（注3）策定が完了したことを受け、早ければ2019年に開始を予定している大規模トライアルや商用展開に向けた5G NRの開発を本格的に行ってまいります。

3GPPは、引き続きRelease15（注4）の完成に向けて、仕様策定の作業を進めていく予定です。
