ソニー、車載向けイメージセンサーにおける取り組みについて発表
東京, 2018年01月09日 - (JCN Newswire) - ソニーは、2014年に車載向けイメージセンサーの商品化を発表して以降、車載向けをイメージセンサービジネスにおける注力領域の一つと位置付け、ソニーのイメージセンサーにおける高い技術力を結集させた業界初の機能と性能を持つ商品を発表してまいりました。
CES2018（米国ネバダ州ラスベガス）では、今後高度な自動運転の実現に向けてソニーが提案する、イメージセンサー技術による「車の眼」の進化をご紹介します。暗所、逆光などの運転環境下において自動車の周囲360度の状況を検知し、早期からの危険回避行動を支援する技術を疑似体験いただきます。加えて望遠や広角、高速、感度などが求められるシーンにおける、肉眼とイメージセンサーによる撮像の違いをご体感いただけます。
ソニーは、人の眼を超えるイメージセンサーの開発により、暗所における感度、遠方や広角撮影のための解像度、逆光シーンでのダイナミックレンジの向上に取り組んでいます。この取組により、肉眼では視認困難な運転環境においても効果的な環境認知を可能にします。
