東松島市とソフトバンク、包括協定を締結

東京, 2018年01月12日 - (JCN Newswire) - 宮城県東松島市（市長：渥美巖）とソフトバンク株式会社（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長兼 CEO：宮内謙、以下「ソフトバンク」）は、教育や健康増進、高齢者支援、観光などの分野における東松島市の発展および市民サービスの向上に向けた包括協定（以下「本協定」）を2018年1月12日に締結しましたので、お知らせいたします。ソフトバンクが東北地方の自治体と包括協定を締結するのは、今回が初めてとなります。

本協定の締結により、幅広い分野でICTを活用した相互連携を図り、東松島市の持続的な発展および市民サービスの向上に一層貢献してまいります。具体的には、人型ロボット「Pepper」を活用したプログラミング学習や、ICT技術を利用した部活動やスポーツ支援、シェアサイクルやスマートフォン・アプリケーションを活用した地域観光の活性化に関する検討、タブレットを活用したテレワークの推進の検討などを予定しています。
